Hi All,

I have a loose swivel cleat mount due to the previous owner having drilled oversized holes.
This is the cleat that determines traveler of mainsail.

Options that I am thinking about:
1)
JB weld existing oversized holes, re drill and rivet.
Not sure how well JB weld will hold up.
2)
Re plate with a piece of rectangular 2mm - 3mm aluminium, riveting this down to the crossbar and then drilling and riveting the swivel cleat baseplate.
3)
Opening up holes larger and then employing rivnuts, this would however require purchase of a rivnut tool and rivnuts to do the job.

What your thoughts folks?

Thanks
SRG

Move the whole plate 4 or 5 mm to one side and redrill the holes. It won't be quite centered, but it won't affect performance noticeably.
