Hey everyone,

I am looking for recommendations for a quality righting bag. I’ve found multiple stories online that describe cheaper / leaky products. As we all know safety equipment may not be used for a long time but when it is it has to work well. Looking for a quality product. I would like a larger bag for I weight 140lbs. Anyone have any recommendations for practicing a righting maneuver?

Thank you,
Scott

Colorado Bag Company's Sail Boom Bags and Accessories for Hobie Nacra Prindle Cats.

I have been very pleased with my extra large righting bag that I use to right my 21SE. Their sail bags are top quality too.........

The one I purchased is so big, I can stand inside it.....

Exceptional quality.

I use an old block and tackle system that snaps on to a loop tied to a short line wrapped around my shroud base.
The 21 is so wide that this short line places the block and tackle within reach and without rubbing against the hull.

I also have shroud extenders that once they are open and the righting bag is mostly full of water, I can pull the boat upright with the block and tackle by myself....
