I see that the Railblaza Railmount 32-41 can be used to mount rods to the aka arms. I was wondering if I could mount a rod to the brace arm, which would position the rod closer to me in an Adventure Island.

The arm is thinner so the 19-25 Railmount might be required.

But would it work? Is the arm strong enough? Would it get in the way somehow?
