An adventure journey to the Islands, the closest island is Berlenga Grande Island situated 5,7 nm (10,6 km) off the mainland, the total distance traveled 23,4 nm (43,3 km) with almost no wind. The hobie mirage drive and the Torqueedo electric motor were the main propulsors.
The huge quantities of Henslow’s swimming Crab (Polybius henslowii) swimming near the ocean surface were responsible for the weak fishing results of the day.
In spite of the crabs many Mackerel and Horse Mackerels were cached near Stelas Islands, these species can not feed on crab.
