Does the well plug serve any function other than keeping things from falling in the water? Does the Revolution perform better when paddling with the well plug in? |

Yes... The Drive Well plug smooths out the bottom of the yak so that you should get less drag when paddling. Brian C |

Try paddeling without the well plug or the drive unit in place. I was amazed how much water rushes in....enough to fill my seat ![]() |

Thanks Roadrunner, Unfortunately I never paddle exclusively. The only reason I paddle is because it’s to shallow to pedal. It is also too shallow to use the rudder as I am on a flat with oysters. After your response and in my case I do not think that using the plug would be worth the effort of putting it in. Thanks for your great posts, you are always saving me time on the water! |
