Here's the deal. Right now I fish out of 2 X Factors and used to the wide boat and go out despite weather sometimes. I also stand and fish (flyfish). How is the outback on speed to the revo? |

there are several very good speed comparisons on this site with actual data... I fish out of a revolution 4 times a week. Eddie who works in the shop with me fishes out of the outback. we find there is very little speed difference, the revolution is a bit faster but not that much. Now standing the outback is the way to go for sure. If you can stay sitting down I think the revolution is a better boat for flats fishing, noticeably quieter in the water. |

I agree - not much difference in speed and stability. I would look at which model gives you what you want in the way of storage, rod holders etc. Seems the Rev has better inside storage (can hold the mirage drive) while the OB has different on deck storage. |
