I am going to mount a sidekick on my girlfriend's Mirage Sport. Due to width considerations it would be difficult to post right behind the seat. Can the sidekick be mounted way rear - like in front of the rudder? What about mounting on the front of the kayak? Thoughts? Greg |

Best just behind the seat. Width constraint? The mounting hardware can be placed on the outer rail or inner rail, so should be fine back there. You can also mount in many different locations. Some are mounting it forward for better sailing stability. |
