I have a problem with my fins. They were once perfectly vertical when the peddles were together, now they are about 10 degrees off. I tried to align them but didn't have much luck. They still seem to be tight but I am wondering if I have jumped a cog. Does anyone have a procedure for aligning these rascals? |

Hi Clermont7, Just a question .. could your pedal adjustment be off by one #. I thought I had jumped a cog and was ready to go through an adjustment when I noticed the pedals were off by one adjustment hole. I must have hit it while out fishing and swinging legs in and out of kayak. It is rare but also possible to bump the adjustment handles with your opposing heel as you pedal to make the adjustment skip to next hole. Anyway, just food for thought and something to check before messing with cables or sprockets. |

Man is my face red. You are right - one pedal was set on #6 and the other on #7. No wonder I was just "limping" along. Thanks for the tip. |

No need for a red face. I saw your post and it sounded like my story. I am glad it was your solution as well. keep pedaling |
