Mounted the AMA's just about an 1/8 of inch past rudder handle(08 model outback), then had to raise tank and extend scupper hose for pump. question: Adding some hose for 'S' Bend made scupper hose stick further down in water,..Will that hurt my pump prime or take away battery life? PS; do plan on adding a small screen for scoop. Steve |

No idea about the effect on battery life, but starting the prime may be more difficult. |
