Tire Capacity is "per tire or they say: Max Wheel Load" so x 2 = 154 lbs.

154 Cart max load.

There is no alternate tire that will fit the Trax Cart... that I am currently aware of.

Their comment about "Contact a Hobie Dealer" is specific to the Trax Cart that ONLY we sell.

Go see what stringy did to modify the cart.

I got a similar pair of knobby tractor wheels at the tractor depot store. I did pretty much what stringy did except my spacers are plastic.

The more narrow knobby tires seem to work just great in all conditions except maybe beach sand.

The trax beach sand tires are very pressure sensitive and tend to look like they are runing flat. Try putting a little more air in without over-inflating too much. Good luck finding a low pressure air guage

If your never in soft sand just use stringys mod. My fully loaded Island gets rolled to the water all the time on the modded cart.
