Last year I did Paddle Georgia 2008 on the Flint River! This year's Paddle Georgia is a week-long, 92-mile canoe/kayak adventure on North Georgia’s Coosawattee and Oostanaula rivers from Ellijay to Rome. I was lucky enough to get my way paid through Georgia Power last year! Not only that but I received a PLU for Project Wet and Adopt a Stream. The coordinator for project wet is great! It was great fun and I'm doing it again. I was contacted by one of the Project Wet coordinator, who asked me to talk it up as there are still teacher scholarships available for this years Paddle Georgia. so I am putting a link up to Paddle Georgia and the Scholarship!
