Climb in over the stern. It has a low flat deck, a nice handle to grab and no rudder in the way.

I was all set to get the revo and now the PA is out. I haven't had a chance to test drive the PA yet. I am not in the best shape of my life and just from the looks, the PA looks more comfortable. Main guestion I have is getting back in if you fall out. On the revo, it isn't too bad to pull on, slide and set back up. Not sure that is true with the PA. What techniques would you use to get back in if you capsized or fell out? |

First thing i did when i got my PA was to turn it over to see how hard it would be to right the vessel and re-enter it. I found that boarding from the stern was the easiest as long as you didnt have the livewell and other stuff still loaded back there. Gettin over that livewell requires a little flexability which i no longer have, So I found that re-entering from the side was not that difficult. And the wide stance of the PA actually made it easier to enter from the side

Plus, I havent tested it, but Ive been told you will fall out of a PA before you flip one. (So yes you could still end up in the water, but not as likely to be the boats fault) I still prefer my revo though |

I went at lunch to see the PA. It is well made but bigger. Question: I keep hearing the PA is 88 lbs vrs 138 lbs fully loaded. What the heck does full loaded mean? Poles, coolers, tackle boxes etc? Or Chair, and normal stuff it comes with. What is on the PA fully loaded that add's 50lbs? |

Lower weight is the molded weight (an industry standard is to show the stripped down weight)... the higher weight is fully rigged with hardware, hatches, tackle trays, seat, drive etc. The boat has a bunch of standard add-ons. Personal gear not included. |

Mind you i'm a younger gent "36" I really dont think the PA is all that heavy. You only lift one end at a time anyway. The seat and drive alone has alot of weight. The takle box i keep in my house since all my plugs, lead etc is in there. The first picture is how i load it. without the seat, drive and center box. I went for comfort and safety. With the ST Turbo dive its fast too!  I keep the loaded box in my house.

Dan, Something around 40lbs i think. The seat isnt hard at all to put in. So i just leave it out while hauling it. I should for future refrence put the seat and drive on a scale to see what the weigh. |

EZ, Have you had to clear a fouled rudder yet? On Revo if I go trhough some heavy weeds or catch a crab pot line, I can just twist and stow it up to clear it, or worse comes to worse, shimmie across back. Looks like rudder on PA is completely underneath? |

To be honest now that i think about it. I havent had a problem. I see and get alot of weeds etc on my line/lures. See alot of it on the surface but never on the rudder. The rudder does swing back when in the down position. Lines, rocks and in the shallows it will just swing up. |
