Can anyone point me to a video on reboarding a capsized Hobie? Seems like I saw one several months ago. I'd like to see it again.

Hi Ya "Boneshaker",
I've only had one experience in my Tandem and fortunately we had it flipped back over and boarded in under a minute. Try using both the Fins or Pedals as levers to right the craft , slither up over the seat area on your stomach, and then carefully remount one person at a time. Once you are on board swing your legs and feet in place then get back up into a seated position.
The safest thing to do is to go out into shallow water or a warm swim pool and practice remounting under controlled conditions till you have it down pat. Rough cold water , wind, waves and currents can easily complicate matters as well as the element of suprise.
We were talking with two Hobie fisherman just yesterday morning in T-Bay that had to be rescued by the coast guard because they were flipped over while fishing in cold water, wind , and rough conditions with an anchor out. They said they were not able to remount or right the kayak and would have surely perished except they were both wearing wetsuits which kept them alive until being rescued.
Practice Practice Practice etc
Have fun and be safe out there
