I just returned from a visit to my nearest dealership so that I could see a Hobie Mirage in real life, and I have to say that I was completely bowled over by the beauty and the quality and the uniqueness of the Revolution which was on show. Unfortunately, as is fairly normal in the UK, the salespeople can tell you almost nothing about their products except The Price. I have definitely decided that the i12 is the boat which will best suit my needs, but it seems there are none available to view anywhere in the UK. I cannot even get a comprehensive list of available accessories and extras. Neither can I find a simple list of all UK Hobie Dealers. Ditch |

How many ink cartridges do you think I should buy in order to get a decent hard copy? Ditch |

Contact the distributor directly for a copy if / since the dealer will not provide. http://www.hobie-kayak.com/html/contact/contact.html A request from your region directly to us would be refered back to the distributor. |

Thanks for that! I figured early on that the quicker help arrives... the smaller the problem will be. Seems to work and makes users time with our products... and therefore lives... better! |

There are several UK dealers on the Hobie Europe website, but they all belong to either the one or the other of only two syndicates, with retail outlets spread around Great Britain and Ireland. There is just one independent on the list, but they have not been with Hobie for 'quite a while'. I visited one of the syndicates branches yesterday, and asked the salesperson to call me today with availability details of the i9s/i12s, but I have received no call. Today I have been exchanging emails with the sales department of the 'other' syndicate, and they have a i12s in stock at one of their more distant branches. They will transfer it to a more convenient branch for me to visit, but they cannot guarantee to do it by July 13th, which is when I next have a free day. The distance is about 100 miles. Ditch |
