I have found that I can cartop both a PA and my Revo on my Wrangler but have a question. What have some of you found to be pros and cons of leaving the plugs under the seat removed? As I said, I will be car topping and live in a rainy climate. I really don't want that area to fill with water only to drench me when pulling down off the Jeep. If no need to, I don't want to be removing and replacing each trip out.

I don't know about the PA, but here in Hawaii we pull the plugs on initial setup of our AI's, never to be used again. Kayaking Bob |

I like the plugs loose on the PA so water can drain but not splash in during chop or wakes. It's nice to have the plugs for a heavy load in calm water where the area under the seat would otherwise be constantly flooded. Nice looking set-up!

What is the concensus for removing or leaving the seat in place when doing highway driving? |

So far I have been leaving it in, but only made a few long distance trips, so would be interested to see what others have found. |

I'm heading for a tournament in Maine with a PA on top and a PA on a trailer. Hoping I don't need to try to put the seats in the Jeep with all the other stuff. |
