| Post subject: | Mississippi Challenge |
I just finished the Mississippi Challenge. a 44 mile two day event. We started 22 miles up stream from Minneapolis, camped at Ft. Snelling. Four hundred twenty paddlers and three peddlers. I was on a Revolution and the other two were Outbacks. I averaged 3.5 mph , not bad for a full boat and a 61 yr. old guy. |

Now that sounds like fun. I also have a Revo & am 65. Was the group part of a paddling club? If I took my wife along in her Sport I would have to find a five star hotel for her to stay in for the night. On the Mississippi that possibly could be done. Any pictures? Bruce |

This event is held each year by the Friends of the Mississippi River. A web site is Mississippi River Challenge. |
