I have a new PA and need to get a cart to transport it from my trailer to the water. should I get the solid wheeled one or the inflatable one? is the weight of the PA going to pop the tires on the inflatable cart? is there a Hobie cart that will go all the way through the scuppers so I can use the locking pin? I want to be able to attach the cart while the bow of the PA is still on the trailer instead of having to roll the PA on its side after I get it on the ground. the type of ground I will be transporting the PA will be varied, from paved ramps to rocky and sandy areas. |

Any of the latest Hobie (wide) carts will work for the Pro Angler. The posts are long enough to get clear through the scuppers. Either wheel type has a capacity great enough for it. The only feature that has not been working for the Pro Angler is the keeper pin. We have just received a shipment of carts with a slightly longer scupper post. Have your dealer order and clearly specify use for Pro Angler / keeper pin use. We can pull from the new stock. |

For carts with the shorter posts, you can run the tank well bungee underneath the cart's crossbar and back up to the other side of the tank well. |

Matt I Just purchased the wide cart for my PA and was told by my dealer to add tennis balls to the post to give better support and now the pin will not work. Are the tennis balls recommended by Hobie????? should I take them off???? |

Stay with the tennis balls. how will the PA be damaged without the tennis balls on the posts? now I am wondering if I should just get a cart that uses straps and nothing goes in the scupper holes!? |

The carts now come with a Hobie made "tennis ball" system we call cart clamps. This supports some of the load at the scupper holes rather than all on the keel... which will dent your keel. The cart clamps are available to purchase separately and are no charge when used on a Pro Angler. |
