A warrenty question for Matt. I purchased an I14T in May of this year. I just noticed one of my drives is an old model with the set screw in the mast and the main shaft is rounded not tapered like the new one. I contacted my selling dealer and he said he filed a warrenty claim (about a week ago). Now he's on vacation for two weeks. Is there any way I can deal direct with Hobie on this or do I have to wait for my selling dealer to get back? The old drive works fine, I just feel I bought an '09 and should have the latest design. Other than this minor problem, we love our new toy!! Thanks in advance- Boxs |

Exactly the way I understand it. My kayak is an '09-so both drives should have the brass insert and screw in mast. Unfortunately I have one of each. Boxs |

Simple to update, so work with the dealer as you have been. |
