| Post subject: | When do the 2010 models come out? |
I am in the market for an Adventure and would like to get an idea of when the new models come out. I am participating in a demo program right now and I have until October to decide (in order to apply the demo program cost to a new boat) so I have some flexibility. In other words, if it's best to wait a while I can continue to take out demo boats until I buy my own. Is it better to wait for the new models to arrive so you can get a deal on last year's model? The bottom line is, I don't want to pay full price for an '09 if the '10's are right around the corner. If I'm paying full price I want to get the newest model, as long as they come out fairly soon. |

2010 Models are shipping now. About the better price? Gotta work with a dealer on that issue. |

Gotta work with a dealer on that issue. lol I am in the same dilema as rockcrawler as on what to do  When are the boats gonna be available to buy in the UK? As I mite wait till the 2010 boats come out and get a good deal on a 2009 hopefully. |

I ended up buying the demo Adventure Island. After struggling a little with stability on the Adventure (with my 75 lb dog in the back) while on Lake Tahoe when the wind picked up I decided that maybe I should give the AI a try. Both for the stability of the outriggers and the ability to go farther via wind power. Well, the day I demo'd the AI happened to be pretty windy. I've never sailed before but picked it up really easy. It was a blast. So then I had a real dilemma because I really wasn't prepared to spend that much money. I bring the demo back to my dealer and he says "why don't you buy THIS boat? I'll give you a deal on it and you don't even have to unload it from your truck". Well guess what I came home with? |
