Post subject: | PA hobie wide cart question for Matt Miller |
I purchased my cart in August. I added tennis balls for extra support. In September I had one of the tire go flat. The air seemed to be leaking around the hub. The dealer was very helpful and replaced it. Last week I am pulling the Kayak along and there goes another tire. This time the air seems to be coming from around where the tire meets the wheel. I contacted your service department and spoke to Brendon. He was very helpful stating that there has been some issues with that setup and that I should go back to my dealer and they would warranty the tire. He also mentioned that Wheeleez and Hobie are upgrading the cart. I want to fix my problem not patch it so that I have the same issue a month from now. Can I get the upgraded tires for the $140.00 cart I already have or do I have to buy a new cart? Instead of spending Hobies money to put a bandade on my issue lets come up with some sort of prorated difference that I need to spend for making my problem go away. What do you think? Dan ![]() |

Makes sense. Thought I had already answered this one. We don't have the older wheel any longer, so would have to upgrade or get the free replacements from Wheeleez. New wheels are #80044111 Trax "2" replacement wheel $ 49.95 each |
