Hi I have the older Mirage Drive (2007 outfitter) in which I put some turbo fins on. Problem is I cannot seem to keep the allen adjustment screw tight enough to hold the turbo fins. They will hold for a couple of hours, but no fail one of the fins will come loose. I am really careful when assembling them, and try to make sure the mast is all the way in and screws are tight. I am wondering if the Turbo fins are just too much for the mechanism and I should upgrade to the V2 threaded sprockets. Alternative would be to put some epoxy on the allen head screws. I really feel I could not take these on a multi day trip without several repairs and bringing along a lot of spare parts (mast, fins, and screws). Thanks, Jill |

Thanks a lot. I will try the marine epoxy and getting rid of the center ridge. Cheers, Jill |
