I read somewhere that the new 2010 seat is taller than the 2009 models. Does anyone know how much taller it is if true? I have been looking at getting a taller seat, and having a direct replacement would be nicer than retrofitting another brand seat. Thanks. |

The seat is about 1 1/2 inches taller, but the inner supports are also taller than the old version. Both add up to more support higher up. The new seat is not yet available to purchase except as part of a new boat due to production needs. We expect this may become available (to buy as a part) in early 2010. We do have the original seat available (2 versions ago) still. This was taller and had longer supports as well. # 81264001 Not as padded though. |

Thanks for the quick, detailed response. Forgot about the older seat. Looks like I will still wait to purchase the newer seat, not a big deal to wait. |
