Post subject:  Kona drain plug

I have recently purchased a Kona & in the information pack from memory it says to remove the plug when storing the kayak to allow for expansion & contraction with hot & cold temps

The Kona doesn't have a drain plug (that i can see) so i am wondering if i should leave a hatch open slightly to do the same thing

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Regards Don

The Kona's drain is in the nose / bow.

Thanks for that Matt (i just went & had a look and it is fairly obvious)

I bought it home & only had a quick look over it before putting it away

Looking forward to having a paddle tomorrow

Regards Don
