If the world doesnt end I'll be ordering a Hobie Mirage Kayak today. It's an online order from a reputable US merchant. I'm not residing in australia nor US so I don't have the luxury of picking one from a local store. Any advice? ![]() |

Update: I can't order anymore as the air-freight from the US to my country is horrendous!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed ground ship would be much much cheaper. Can anyone recomend a economical and trustworthy freight service that can handle the shipping from US. You guys have the luxury of picking one from local store, SO UNFAIR!!! |

In these types of situations I would most definitely let the US merchant I am ordering from make the arrangements. If they just want to sell the product and let you make all arrangements this will be an issue with lots of time, patients and trust involved. If they are unwilling to then I would not find them reputable. Also contact Hobie directly and ask if they are an authorized dealer. Which one are you ordering and where do you live, who are you ordering from and where are they located.. I will check for you. Be advised that someone will need to build a strudy shipping crate and transport it to the shipping point of departure because your items will be loaded in a Shipping container with other items that may be stacked on top of it. There are Customs and other etc.etc cost involved that may or may not be resolved out front but maybe only settled upon delivery. |

Where are you wanting to ship it too as shipping to some areas is better handled by certain carriers each country has its own special carriers if you know of some ex-patriots of your country they may hold the key to your shipping needs. |
