Does Hobie ever sell just the hulls? I've currently got an Outback, which has been -- and is -- a great boat, but I could use more speed for longer fishing trips.

The base price for an Adventure with drive, paddle, seat seems to be around $1900. Since I already *have* those items for my Outback, I'm wondering if Hobie ever sells just the boat? I called one dealer, but he wasn't too certain.

I could just swap the drive between boats as needed. And, from what I understand, the Adventure paddles a LOT better than the Outback, so I could put my wife or a guest in the Outback with the mirage drive, and just paddle the larger boat, for those occasional trips.

The price for a "hull only" is a major percentage of the whole package. We don't sell the hull only, we recommend that dealers pull the unwanted components and sell that as "parts" to make it happen.
