Okay, I admit to falling in love over the summer. A friend had three Hobie kayaks, including a tandem. We spent a lot of time in the tandem over the summer. She's out of town a lot though, so I talked her into selling me one of the Classics, so I can peddle without a partner. According to what I've read here, I think it was manufactured in 1990. It's a terrific kayak, and I adore it. My question is this: can I upgrade to the turbo fins without doing any construction or de-construction? Any info on the Classic is also appreciated. Thanks! |

We first started building Mirage Kayaks in 1997, so yours will be newer than 90. You should be able to add Turbo Fins without changing anything on the hull. |
