The "commercial transport systems" are adapters for rack crossbars (which we store kayaks upside down on) to accomodate those who don't want to flip the hull for some reason. Some kayaks don't have rails like the Hobie, so upright is likely better in their case. Some have hardware or accessories mounted on rails that make flipping for racking impossible. |
