I bought some cord and a bunch of clips, and I'm not sure exactly how to join them. Is there a particular "best" way to attach bungee cord to a typical Scotty clip?  I suppose you could insert the cord end and tie a stopper knot. Or you could use a bowline, but that uses a lot of cord. And what is that slot for on the back of the "eye" on the clip? Thanks for any help. |

You might try threading the cord through the eye and clinching it back on itself with a hog ring. |
