I have not seen this issue before, so I'm putting it out there for others to watch for. My 09 Revo developed a small crack/split on the port side, forward drive well area inside, at the location of the moulded in relief point thats sticks down for the Click and Go screw/nut placement. I have lost all confidence in now taking her offshore as it looks to be getting a lil bigger as of the last use. I have only used this particular hull 3 times. Noticed it after second trip and thought it was just discoloration but last night it looked wider pronounced and I actually was able to put my fingernail in it. I will post a pic ASAP. Can't believe it, it's otherwise a pristine hull with out a scratch.
After further inspection tonight I noticed it had spread to a T type of spider leg split vice a single line split. To even attempt to fix you would need to dis-assemble the port click and go, drill the ends of all cracks/splits and center of the spider then apply adhesive to secure as a temp fix. Given that this is the actual anchor /stress point for the drive it will eventually spread and the Click and Go WILL fail as its grip releases and comes out of its anchor housing. If the fitting is a press/adhesive fit or a spread fit by way of tightening the allen head screw it may have been over tightened at the factory or insuffient material adhered to the fixture relief setting during manufacturing.
Now I'm left with, is this a sign,,,,, do I want to pull the trigger on the AI or stay replacement REVO.
