We just got back from a trip to Bruce Peninsula National Park in Ontario, Canada. We also went to one of a group of islands called Fathom Five National Park, and the world famous Flower Pot Island.

We went in our traditional kayak and our Hobie Revolution, but one day we plan to get a Tandem Island, and this is the first place that I want to go back to with that boat.

Here are some pictures:

It's well worth the trip, and it would be a perfect trip for someone with an AI or a TI.

What a picturesque and impressive looking destination!
Looks like the base of that formation has been reinforced with bricks- or is that natural?
Thanks for posting. :)

Actually the entire thing is completely natural. They're nicknamed the Flower Pots, and they're huge. It really is stunning to see. The water was as clear as any water I've ever seen. You can see the slight fog in a couple of the pictures, it was relatively foggy when we left shore, (which is why I was wearing the bright orange shirt) but as the fog lifted you could see the scenery and it really is stunning. This is a really popular spot for diving as the water is so clear, we could easily see the land 50 or more feet below the water. There were cliffs on the land, but as you kayaked away from shore, you could see cliffs below the water too. We'd be kayaking in 2 to 10 feet of water, and then there would be a huge drop and we'd instantly be into depths of 50 feet or more.

I just had to share it. I think we have close to 200 pictures between the two of us, but I didn't want to stick up too many of my kayak seeing as it's not a Hobie. (my wife has the Hobie). This is just a selection but I have others that are just as incredible showing me on my kayak.
