Looking for opinions, feedback, suggestions. Primary use in Atlantic ocean off New Jersey, some lakes and rivers. Fishing will be part of ti as well. Help with direction please. |

Fantastic kayak. If all you want to do is paddle, which is fine, then the Kona is an excellent choice. It's not a speedy boat, but you can't beat it for stability. You can stand up in it if you need to. It also has excellent tracking with no real tendency to "spin-out" like other non-ruddered kayak hulls. It is also an incredible solo boat with the molded-in center seat position! I recently upgraded from the Kona to an Oasis because I wanted the Mirage drive and the ability to sail. |
