I just recieved a lanyard for my mirage drive and want to install. My drive is from 08 and doesn't have the triangle cut out like the one in the FAQ section above. Can I just drill a 1/4" hole and use a clevis ? Or is drilling something I shouldn't do? I bought the splash guard too and want to screw it on. Any suggestions on what SS screws to use? Thanks in advance for the help. |

You can drill. The accessory splash guard uses zip ties... sure you know. If you want to do the factory install: We use tapped holes. 2 each #8 x 5/8 screw. #10 washer. |

Thanks Matt. I'll probably drill and tap. Thanks for the info on the drive leash too. |
