Those look like the older plastic sprockets using the allen set screw. I would say now is the perfect time to upgrade to the "new and improved" V2 sprockets that use a threaded mast and have a brass insert. ![]() Especially if you are using turbo fins. The notch cut in the old style masts can be a weak point under stress. The threaded V2s are so much easier to deal with than the worrisome allen set screws. |

Seeing that we have had the threaded mast and sprocket setup on the drives for a couple of seasons... I have to guess these failed parts are a bot older than that. As Yak said... upgrade. There is a kit that comes with two masts and two sprockets (either standard or Turbo). |
