Aft fin (V-2 drive) is wrinkled just below the clew. I did attempt to pedal before noticing that the drive was not properly seated; could this be stretch marks from impacting the bottom of the drive well? The mast doesn't seem to be bent and the drive appears to work properly, once seated. Need I be concerned?

I'd bet that if you removed the mast and rolled it on a flat surface, you will see that it is bent.
The only reason I have for ever seeing a "wrinkle" as you described is from a bent mast.
Yours is probably slightly bent and wont affect performance though.

Some of mine have the 'wrinkle' as you describe. I think it's from going real fast! :)

I don't know that I've hit anything solid... If the mast bends from the tip contacting soft sandy bottom, it seems awfully weak to me; that's the only thing I'm aware of having contacted. Maybe I should revisit my Bottom Sensor/Collision Reference and Prevention (BS/CRAP) system
