....so I cut the poles and installed the dodger, except one of the sewed on bungee loops broke off. Need some quality control Hobie. |

Not something we have been hearing. It is possible to mix up the different rods and end up with one combined length a little long. This is a product built by a vendor for us... which tab tore off? |

I have just encountered problems when trying to fit the dodger kit to my AI. 1) One snap on has come apart ..... this is brand new kit !!! 2) The rear two bungee loops are under tension and fraying .... this is brand new kit !!! 3) The forward loops appear to be stitched in the wrong location to pull the dodger into the correct shape & position. They are causing the spray hood to distort. 4) The stitching of the dodger material is poor. We have followed the instructions & checked & re-checked the mounting points positioning. We are happy that they are correct to the instructions. I am about to try and get a replacement dodger kit from the Hobie Centre, Poole, UK but I fear that this may have the same faults. ps I have images but don't see how to post on this forum. |

So... two options... return to the dealer or get reinforced locally. In any case. Work through your local dealer for anything you need on this. Image placement is covered by a FAQ topic: http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=12574 |
