Hey guys, My Name is Rob. New to the site but definitely not new to kayak fishing. If you don't feel like building it yourself you can spend about $25 and get an even more flexible setup. for $12.99 on Amazon you can get the Dolica WT-1003 monopod. Add to that a Goitto Ball head camera mount (which allows you to set the camera at any angle relative to the monopod) for 12.95 on Amazon and you have a very nice setup.
