Ok, I live on Lake Ontario... I don't get to see dolphins... EVER! Funny thing is, I also live about 5 minutes from the training area for some of the country's best rowing teams... so, ironically, I could see rowing teams anytime I wanted... men's or women's. Trust me, the dolphins are still cooler! ![]() |

Thanks for the pics Roadrunner! ![]() Is that still your original cam column repaired Adventure and were you actually keeping up with that rowing team? ![]() I know what you mean about dolphins being difficult to photograph. I've found the best way to overcome shutter lag is to set to multiple shot mode..... or video. ![]() |

Kayaks provide an unobtrusive unique view of life, much better than the view of a TV from the couch. I tried to keep up with a local high school Crew in my outback.....not for long though....I should have known better...I crewed in High School and college...duh ![]() |

Roadrunner wrote: Yes, you guys are getting some great shots that way. This video still of you sailing with Neptune's wind is my all time favorite! The current '10 with Click N Go has been fantastic, with over 700 problem free miles so far and running great. ![]() Thanks for that Roadrunner. .... and thanks to Chrisj who noticed the 'Neptune' cloud shape in the video. The newer HD video cameras with progressive scan make it easy to grab a good quality still. So much better than the interlaced 2 half frames of the previous DV format. Must have been hard to give up on the old cam adventure. I agree the new CnG and V2 drives are a huge improvement and are proving very reliable. It's great to see Hobie continually refining their product! ![]() |
