I bought a 2010 yellow Outback today. It had been used about 3 times on a vacation trip. The gentleman that bought it had to have bypass surgery after he bought it. He had added a nice FFinder, battery, rear light pole, anchor, ram FF mount, Hobie cart, paddle, dry bag, milk crate with rod holders and a few other things. And it's going to be 66 degrees tomorrow and Sunday. |

Congradulations! Sounds like a sweet rig! All outfitted too. You're going to love it. Just be careful at this time of the year. While the air may be warm, the water is deadly cold. Anything less than a dry suit is risky. |

I went out all day Sunday. I'm used to a Wilderness Ride 135 so I felt a little cramped at first but by the end of the day I had found a place for everything and was really starting to feel at home in the Outback. The thing has very good initial stability. After catching a good mess of crappie I was feeling good about my purchace. I'm still figuring out what shoes to wear and how to keep my feet on the peddles. |

I caught about 20 crappie, 12 were keepers. I mostly crappie fish. These kayaks are a breeze to creep up on matts and tops full of crappie. I'm learning how to position myself and anchor down then scoop um up. Today I vacuum sealed a spare top bottoms and frog toggs to store in the back hatch of my Outback. I wear sockfeet breathable waders and a splash top. |

If the weather here in NWArkansas holds out and the lake thaws out I'll be fishing Sunday. Just about have the Yeller Outback decked out. Put my anchor trolly on today. My ram rod holders aren't in yet but that's ok. I'm planning on another limit of crappie for the freezer or skillet. |
