The dealer sold me this kit. Part No 81391002 to upgrade the rudder to T handles. Photos and instructions state "2007 Adventure Island Rudder T Handle Kit". I'm becoming very frustrated by the photos and instructions which aren't working with my tandem kayak beginning on step 21. Can anyone help? Did the dealer sell me the wrong kit? Or can this one be made to work? Anyone have photos of where the blocks are to be mounted? Thank you!!!!! - Dave |

We never made a kit to work for any boat but the Adventure / Adventure Island. We have no specifications, but know that the kit will work on most if not all models. You can look at a current model to see if you can replicate the hardware positions, but we have changed the way this system works on tandems. |

Thanks. I figured it out. Ended up mounting the blocks on the kayak interior near the front seat on either side of the kayak. Also, had to find a 2nd set of bolts / nuts for the one block since the kit only supplies 1 set. - Dave |
