I just noticed that one of my click-n-go units moves about 1 to 2 mm side to side on my 2010 outback.

The other side does not move at all.

I checked the tightness of the Allen bolt, and both seem very tight. In fact, I couldn't loosen or tighten either one.

Should I be concerned about this?

Should be snug. It is possible that loctite keeps the bolt from turning, but the unit is still loose. You have to overcome the loctite bond to tension the screws.

Thanks, Matt - I'll use a T-Handle wrench to loosen and re-fasten the bolt. What kind of Loctite should I use when I tighten it up? I think Loctite may come in different colors/strengths.

Blue.

Allen wrench needs to be a ball end type do to the indirect alignment of the bolt.
