I just put on a set of cart post clamps on my cart and followed the instructions and could not make a 3 point contact at the keel and both scuppers on my 2011 OASIS.
What next?

How have you been storing your kayak?

I store my kayak upside down on two planks with a cover.

Lance, congratulations on your new Oasis. As you now know, not all hulls allow for the "3 point stance". You can just use the post clamps on the scuppers, or if you want a better hull contact, replace the post clamps with tennis balls. In any event, make sure your posts are long enough to extend through to the other side to prevent the possibility of scupper damage! 8)

Roadrunner,
Thanks for you picture, what a great idea using tennis balls, I will give it a try.

The "three points of contact" assure that the cart is as far into the boat as possible. Just be sure the cart extends clear into the cargo area and that it does not jack the boat too high up on the cart. That adds some lever load on the scuppers.

With my '11 Oasis and car the clamps, as tight as I could clamp them, prompted slid all the way to the bottom the first time I set the boat on the cart. But I just decided that was close enough and am using it like that. Seems ok.
