Hmm....On my last trip back from the coast, when I pulled my Trax2 cart out, I noticed the cap had separated from pin.

I can super-glue the pin back in place, but there is no longer a cord, so the cap will fall out if the cart is tilted.

Is there a part number I can use to order a replacement? I don't see it in the catalog. :(

Many thanks,

Steve

The cord is likely down in the cart frame tube. The shock cord is 1/8" diameter.

I had the same problem but I lost the pin. Is there a part number for the pin or the pin and cap?

I had the same problem but the cord and pin were both down in the rod on the cart. Pulled them both out, 2-part epoxied them together. Good as new 8)

Good topic--my keeper just came apart too. I can fish the cord out of the tube--but then what? i notice there is a little slot adjacent to the metal pin hole in the black plastic piece. Do you jam the cord in there and push the metal pin on top of it, or epoxy it or ???

Yes, yes and yes. The cap captures the shock cord when you press it onto the pin. Epoxy is a good idea.
