Hi guys, Just wondering if there's a knack to removing the Mirage drive click-n-go mounts from the hull? I can see the rear-most Allen screw, but the front one seems to be masked the the cam activation mechanism. Do I need to remove this to gain access to the front Allen screw? Cheers, Mike. |

I just use a long shaft 3/16 Allenhead. It slides in at an angle along side the toggle at the front housing recess. If you remove the rear screw first, the unit will move around for better positioning after you get it started. Don't forget the Loctite on re-installation. ![]() |

Use a ball-end allen for best results. Allows a sharper angle of attack. |

Thanks for the reply guys... I found a suitable allen key, but no matter how hard I tried the rear screw wouldn't budge. In the end I gave up, as it felt like something was going to break! Cheers, Mike. |

LocTite can be hard to break, but it should come loose. |

I replaced the right click and go today, it was worn and unstable, causing the spring to break i believe. I was able to remove it , although the screw towards the front is a little difficult to access . On the re-install i removed the 2 small screws that keep the plastic "housing " together on the click and go , and that allowed easy access to the screw . |

Don't use Red but Blue so you can take apart if needed in the future. |
