Bought the $40 gun mount hobie sells for kayaks. no instructions. no rail on the outback to mount with existing hardware. what's up hobie. what did you have in mind for mounting the gun rack. |

I believe there is a photo of it mounted on an Outback in the accessories catalog. |

It looks like the rack is sold with two different types or mounts. This one was mounted by taking part of the bracket apart and and through mounting the shafts. I think you are going to have to play with the mounts depending what type of hunting you are doing, if you have a dog, and how much open water or overhanging brush you are dealing with. I don't know how Hobie would have designed a mount to function on all it's models, that seems to be the problem.
