My local dealer tells me they won't have 2012 models until NEXT September! Can that be right when I see ACK has them on their website? |

I would bet they are simply confused as to what the change date is for model year. Makes sense if they think 2012 models come out next September (2012). To be clear... Our model-year is from September 1st to August 30th each year. We introduced 2012 models on September 1st, 2011. Next September 1st will start the 2013 model year. |

Thanks, Matt. This dealer was celebrating their 30th anniversary this past weekend. I don't know how long they have been carrying Hobie products, but can't see why they would be confused. It's kind of like cars: When I was a kid the '64 models (I know I am dating myself!) were introduced in September of '63. Now adays new models seem to come out any time of the year. |
