Morning all, In the process of acquiring a Revo 13 for myself, but was also considering a Revo 11 for my son and wife (but primarily for my son) to use when we go fishing. Anyone have any input or feedback on their experiences with the Revo 11? I have plenty of seat time in a Revo 13 already. Specifically, I am looking for input on handling and speed in ocean currents of +1.0 or greater or in firm to stiff winds in excess of 10-15 knots. I fish some major tunnel structures that are in the midst of primary channel currents and holding position while trying to fish out of my current Wilderness Systems Ride 135 is a bit challenging to say the least. I spend more time paddling than fishing and it can become very frustrating. |

By using the "search" feature, you'll find quite a bit of info on the Revo 11. ![]() |

I've used my Revo 11 in currents and waves, but never a 13, so I can't speak to the difference. I'd say the main advantage of the 11 is the weight. It's light enough to lift overhead unassisted. |

I fish offshore in conditions similar to what you describe.... 1+current/10-15kt winds. I'm currently fishing off the 13 but fish with a few guys that have the 11's (and also adventures)....all three seem very similar speed in calm conditions but when the wind/chop pick up there is no replacement for hull length (IMO). I would estimate the cruising speed difference between the 11 and 13 in choppy conditions to be about .5mph.....i would guess the adventure is closer to .75mph faster than the 13 in the same conditions. It doesnt seem like much of a difference until your traveling a 5-6 miles next to someone in an adventure Also the 11's with the bait tank installed is very limited on fish storage if you plan on tackling larger offshore fish like yellowtail, whiteseabass, halibut, exc.... |

Thanks. That is exactly what I was looking for. I decided on a Revo 13. |
