Heard this is the place to be for adventure addicts... I bought a pair of Hobie i12's to take on my honeymoon (a 3000 mile road trip throughout WA, OR, CA and NV) and havent stopped paddling since. It's safe to say I am addicted, but its worth noting I could quit anytime (just not today). Thought I would introduce myself and shamelessly share my kayaking tumblr with my fellow junkies. http://www.fasterfarther.com Onward! Cryder |

Cryder, welcome to the club. Sounds like an awesome place to take a honeymoon (spent some time in WA & OR years ago specifically windsurfing on the Columbia river & climbing Mount Hood). I have had a look at your blog - great to see the skiing (we are in midsummer here in NZ and it reminds me how much I am missing out on my other addiction), but what I really want to know (being a native of that city) is what the heck a Newcastle Brown Ale (a.k.a. "dog") cap was doing out there in the wilderness ?! Was it one of yours or did you just find it lying around? Andy. P.S. don't think for one moment that you can break the addiction that easily ![]() |

I only post the sunny stuff to taunt them! That was a little spot along Lake Tahoe's east shore, and when we hitched our boats to the log, it was pounded into the stump. |
