I'm new to kayak fishing, and just picked up a Hobie Quest 13. I absolutely love this kayak. Fresh water lakes are what I usually fish, and I'm wondering if the Hobie Quest 13 is designed to handle the ocean, or just lakes and bays. Ocean kayak fishing is a distant goal at this point, but I'd love to get there someday. Thanks! |

Good luck, it sounds like it will be fine out in surf. BTW check out norhtwestkayaksanglers.com. ALOT of info on this site, great group of fisherman with alot of knowledge and they are willing to share it with you. BTW where are you now? Im new here and live in Az. |
