Is there suppose to be a pin or something? If someone could shed some light on this it would be helpful. thanks in advaced..

The outriggers insert into the mounting bar and latch with spring-loaded buttons just like the paddle. Position of the mounting bar when installed allows the adjustments as high, medium and low. The only loose parts are screws, well-nuts and the mounting brackets.

Thank you for.your response.. looks like I'm missing the spring loaded buttons and well nuts. I'm assuming it takes the 1inch well nuts so that's easy enough to fix but any idea if hobie sells the spring loaded buttons??? I'll call fastlanes Mon but if someone has a link to them ill order then this weekend. Thanks in advanced...

Search this forum and the fishing forum for more info on well-nuts... there have been some posts regarding reliability... I'm going to mount mine aft far enough to through-bolt the brackets... avoids interference with paddling and fishing, too.

I have had 0 problems with well nuts but I can see how some issues are valid.
