Can you only go forward with mirage fins? I'm hoping you can go backwards too and sort of hover when pitching. |

You can pull out the drive and put it in the other way round. Then pedalling will move you backwards. Fix a leash to the drive before you unclip it in deep water! And I think you need to raise the rudder for going backwards. Mary |

You can go backwards with the rudder down and still steer. Going fast though will make it tricky since the rudder will flop to one side easier and spin you. There are quite a few people that face down stream, pedalling backwards while they fish. |
